This is definitely a close second to the Timber Reserve. I'm a big fan of the citrus and bergamot scents together. I highly recommend trying it out and pairing it with the balm or butter.

Vegetable smell?

The citrus scent stays on, but there's some kind of "green" smell in the bottle, like vegetable oil. I honestly don't think I'll finish this bottle.

Our carriers are Golden Jojoba, Argan, Castor, and Hempseed Oil. Some customers may detect some of the natural smells through the essential oils but I can assure you there is no vegetable oil in our product. We appreciate your honesty and will take your comment into consideration as we continue to improve our products. Ok guys, I am SUPER happy to have been able to use your "Bold Citrus" beard oil. It is very enjoyable scent and I hope that you will develop more citrus scents because I have found that I do not enjoy the wood scents. Maybe a suggestion... Bourbon and variants of that scent.
